Feverish Weekend

The weekend before MLK Jr. day we spent the Sunday and Monday in the City. San Fransisco is right. We went to Muir Woods on Sunday. The crazy part of the weekend was that Eve was running a fever that got up to 104 at times. So don't be fooled by her smile in these pictures. When we got back to the hotel, she was burning up. We had purposely reserved a room that was a suite so that we could put the kids to bed and then go to our side and stay up a bit. But, with Eve's fever and Todd's refusing to sleep in the pull-out bed. We all went to bed at 9. Matt, Todd and I were in the King bed and Eve by our side in the pack n' play. The next day, Monday, we had planned on going to a children's museum but decided to just stroll around the City instead. And eat gelato. Both of which were very good choices.

For being so sick, Eve looks delighted.

T is for Tiger

Yesterday Todd came running out of timeout wearing this get-up. He told me it was his "tiger costume." Got to love that imagination.

P.S. He is wearing a t-shirt, a sweater vest, and then another t-shirt. And yes, those are two pairs of basketball shorts.

The Newest of 2012

We're so excited to have "matched" in a great Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program near our wonderful parents. I know Todd and Eve are especially excited. We'll be moving to Utah near the end of June, but have mixed feelings about leaving our beloved Sacramento.

Classic Todd

He loves Mater! He can be found rehearsing lines from Cars as he plays throughout the day. His current favorite is "Was that floating like a Cadillac or stinging like a Beamer? I'm confused."
Todd also is known for his outfits around our house. I gave up on that battle long ago. Anywho, this is Todd wearing Eve's pants on Christmas morning. Matt thought it looked very 80's and even mentioned that all he needed was a belt. Todd overheard and decided he would go look for his, but thankfully never found it.
Todd also enjoys doing anything and everything his parents do. On Christmas Eve, I took to wearing surgical gloves while preparing our feast to avoid reopening all the cuts on my fingers. Todd decided he needed "hand glubs." He apparently needed to wear Matt's shoes too.
We love our crazy Todd!
